2018 Career Talk & Employment Meeting at NCCU on October 26th

The Office of International Cooperation in collaboration with TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) would like to invite you to the 2018 Career Talk & Employment Meeting for International Students here at NCCU. An event specifically arranged for NCCU’s International Students who would like to work in Taiwan during their studies or after the completion of their university degree.

- Date and Time: Friday, October 26 from 1.30pm to 5.50pm
- Location: Audiovisual Classroom 250203, 2^nd Floor, Research Building, National Chengchi University

There will be 6 different Taiwanese companies present, allowing you to discuss and explore employment opportunities with their representatives for your future career in Taiwan. As previously noticed, we have paid particular attention to not invite companies with a mainly technology-based or engineering focus, as this does not reflect NCCU’s academic field of expertise. Instead, foci on liberal arts and business majors have been set, which truly represents the professional knowledge NCCU and its international student body is well known for.

Companies attending include, among others, La Kaffa International Co. Ltd ( 六角國際事業股份有限公司), Dimerco Group (中菲行國際物流股份有限公司), Taishin Holdings Co (台新金控),  and Acer (宏碁股份有限公司).  

After an introduction of every company present, an employment matchmaking session will be held, during which you can discuss the open positions with the companies’ HR managers and have a chance to hand in your CV. Additionally, the event also provides a session on Taiwanese working regulations in English. Through this sub-section, you will be informed about the legal side of being employed in Taiwan as an international student.
