Notice for Extending Residence Application for Undergraduate Dorm Residents for Spring Semester 2015

The Notice for Extending Residence Application for Undergraduate Dorms is divided into two sections according to the dorm locations:

I.   Downhill Area

1. Deadline for the residence extension: July 1 (Wed) to July 15 (Wed), according to the applicants’ requests. All current residents should move out of their dorm and complete the move-out inspection no later than 15:00 on July 15 (Wed).

2. Bed reservation: Female: 1 and 2 Floor of JhuangJing Dormitory 8 (72 beds); Male: 1 Floor of JhuangJing Dormitory 4 and 1 Floor of JhuangJing Dormitory 5 (38 beds).

3.  Target：Undergraduate Dorm Residents of 2015 Spring Semester.

4.  Application period: 11:00 June 1 (Mon) 2015.And it will end when all beds are assigned.

＊On-site registration at the Student Housing Service Section, on a first-come-first-served basis and one bed per application until all beds are assigned.

5.  Payment: Payment is due on site and the application will not be completed until the fee is paid. NTD 150 per day of residence extended. The fee will begin accumulating from July 1 (Wed). No refunds are provided under any circumstances. Please see attachment I for information concerning fee standards.

6.  Bed assignment: In order to save time and energy, beds will be assigned in certain areas and according to the sleeping habits of two groups: those who sleep before and after 12 am.The beds will be assigned in sequence; applicants are not allowed to choose beds for themselves.

II. Uphill Area(To make room for summer camp residents, the deadline for dorm residence extension for the uphill area will be shifted to July 10.)

1.  Deadline for residence extension: July 1 (Wed) to July 10 (Fri), according to the applicants’ requests. All current residents should move out of their dorm rooms and complete the move-out inspection no later than 10:00 on July 10 (Fri).

2.  All beds are available for application: Female：ZihCiang Dormitory 7 & 8; Male: ZihCiang Dormitory 5 & 6.

3.  Target：Undergraduate Dorm Residents of the 2015 Spring Semester.

4.  Application period: 9:00-16:00 June 2 (Tue) 2015; 9:00-16:00 June 3 (Wed) 2015.

       ＊On-site registration at the Student Housing Service Section, on a first-come-first-served basis and one bed per application.

5.  Payment: Payment is due on site and applications will not be completed until the fee is paid. NTD 150 per day for extended residence. The fee begins accumulating from July 1 (Wed). No refunds will be provided under any circumstances. Please see attachment I for information concerning fee standards.

III.Move-out Inspection and Deadline:

1.    Applicants must move out of their dorm rooms no later than the extended time indicated on the application. The dorm deposit for the 2015 Spring Semester will not be refunded until the move-out procedure is completed. Residents should clean their assigned room, complete the move-out inspection and submit the move-out inspection form to the Student Housing Service Section, to complete the move-out procedure. Residents who fail to complete the move-out inspection will forfeit their deposit of NTD 1000. If any dorm property is damaged or lost due to residents’ action, the excessive fees will be charged or a record of violation will be taken down to the residents, in addition to the deposit confiscation.

2.    Residents are required to allow the dorm service staff to enter their dorm rooms for purposes of equipment inspection and maintenance.

IV.  Notes:

        Dorm residents for 2015 Spring Semester are required to move out of their dorm rooms between June 30 (Tue) and July 1 (Wed), no later than 15:00 July 1 (Wed). Approved summer stay residents and those who with extended residence should move to their newly assigned room at that time.
