2022 School Year End-of-semester Dormitory Check-out Reminder
I .End of Semester Dormitory Vacating
A. Undergraduate students
1.The checking-out date is arranged on June 17- June 18, 2022. Students should clear out of their residing dormitory rooms no later than 3 pm of June 18, 2022.
2.Those applying for extended staying periods should move out before deadline set according to the rules for extra stay.
B. Graduate students
Students should clear out of their residing dormitory rooms no later than 12 pm on June 30, and also applicable for those who do not apply for summer vacation residence but still continue to stay in the same room next semester.
C. Reminder
1. For student who does not move out of their room, who do not clear up his/her own disposals, and who do not complete vacating procedures on deadline, the remaining personal items will be disposed of, the dormitory deposit would be fully deducted and penalization points will be implied.
2. Students who have applied for late check-out process or who apply for the summer session residence may communicate with residents currently residing in the room for move-in matters; then after registration at the dormitory service counter, the students that have applied for late check-out process or summer term residents may move into assigned room .
3. The last resident who check out of the room is responsible for clearing out all the remaining trash and items, notifying dormitory STAFF for inspection, and signing the inspection checklist.
II. Moving Service
We will provide “ Moving Service” through arrangement of 3 trucks on June 17, and 6 trucks to assist residents on June 18. Detailed information will be further announced by each residence building.
III. Cargo express on-site service
Planned to provide service on June 13- June 18, while the exact serving dates are up to each residence hall.
IV.Dormitory Storage Room Service time
A. Service time
1.The open days for the all the dorm storage rooms are on June 17 and June 18, 2022. For the convenience of students during on-line courses period, some of dorms storage rooms will also be open for specified hours since the 4th week of May, as shown in attachment 1. However due to the difference duty hours of each dorm, the exact opening hours of each dorm will be decided by the announcements of each dorm.022~ Jun. 18, 2022

B.Reminders
1. If students would like to retrieve items at times other than the times set above, one hundred NT dollar service fee would be charged. (Please come to Student Housing Service section/Dormitory Service Center to take an application form, before paying at the Cashier Section; and also note that the Cashier Office is closed on the weekends)
2. All items left at the storage areas beyond the expiration time (Sep. 12) would be disposed of, and two penalization points would be granted per day according to Student Dormitory counseling and Management Regulation ; Should ten points be accumulated, the student would be asked to leave the dorm.
3. Items stored at the storage area should be packed out tidily with proper protective material on the outside to avoid any scattering or damping.
4. Storage service is available until the last day (Jun.18) of the term, afterwards only allows to pick up your staffs.
V.Garbage Collection
A. Periods for Dumpster
1. For Undergraduate(Chuang-Ching Dorm 1~3,Zi-Chiang Dorm 5~9):on June 13- June 18.
2. For Graduate(Chuang-Ching Dorm 9,Zi-Chiang Dorm 1~3 & 10):on June 13-30 & Aug 30-31.
B. Locations of Dumpster
1. For Chuang-Ching Dormitory:
1st~3rd Dorm: East side gate of Chuang-Ching 1st~3rd Dorm .
9th Dorm: Main Gate of Chuang-Ching 9th Dorm.
2. For Zi-Chiang Dormitory:
1st~3rd Dorm: Public Square in front of counselor's office.
5th~9th Dorm: Square between 6th and 7th Dorm; West side of the square of 9th Dorm.
10th Dorm: Atrium of the first floor.
C. Reminder :
1. In order to prevent garbage piles, each residence hall will have their own recycling bins for items such as Jigsaw carpets, mattresses, etc.
2. Please do not dump your personal belongings or disposals in public areas of dorms; violators will be punished according to the rules.
VI. Regulations of traffic
1. From now on, when parents enter the school campus in their vehicle, please present the student’s ID on their mobile phone to prove their identity before entering the school.
2. Due to the use of the license-plate recognition system for vehicles entering the school, the fee is charged according to the time they stay, free for the first one hour, and 30 NT dollars for per half hour starting from the second hour ( EasyCard payment is acceptable).
3. Please note that if you are assisting students moving out, you are advised park your vehicles inside the campus, do not park at Zhi-Nan Rd. to avoid being towed and creating traffic jam.
