Notice for graduate students applying to stay in the dorms through 2015 summer vacation

I. Summer residence period: From July 1, 2015 to 12pm(noon) August 31, 2015.

※ Graduate students could move to the room in summer vacation after 12 pm Jun. 30 2015 if the rooms of summer time is not the same as current rooms.

II. Eligibility: graduate students currently residing in the dorms ※ Application for graduate students who don’t live in the dorms in spring 2015 will be announced according to the situation of dorms in summer vacation.

III. How to apply: Please apply through Dorm Web Application System and fill out the form. Website: NCCU Homepage →「iNCCU 愛政大」( https://i.nccu.edu.tw/Login.aspx) →「校務資訊系統」 →「學生資訊系統」 →「資訊服務」→「學生宿舍申請」→「碩博士班 103 學年暑期宿舍申請」

IV. Where to stay: Except the residents in Chuang-Ching #9, all other applicants will stay in the current rooms. Due to the structural reinforcement work, the current residents in Chuang-Ching #9 who intend to stay in the dormitories during the summer break have to move to Zhiqiang#10. Graduate students currently residing in Chuang-Ching #9 could check the room for summer time on Web Application System from May 21 to May 22, 2015.

V. When to apply: We will open thesyatem from 0:00 of May 12 to 23:59 of May 14, 2015. If you have not submitted the online application before May 14 we will assume you do not need to stay during summer time.

VI. When to pay the dorm fee: June 4 ~ 10, 2015. Please print out the bill for the summer dorm fee from the below website of the First Commercial Bank and pay the fee at the bank, convenient store or via ATM during the above period. It will be assumed that any student that does not pay by June 10 is not going to stay in the dorms during summer vacation. The room (including your closets) should be cleared of personal items and cleaned.

VII. Summer dorm fee & refunds: 1. Summer dorm fee: Equal to one-half of the standard dorm fee for a full semester 2.Students that have already paid the summer dorm fee, if you no longer plan to stay in the dorms during summer vacation please bring your receipt of payment to the Student Housing Service Section by Jun. 30, 2015. We will not accept the request for a refund after Jun. 30, 2015.

VIII.Moving-out inspections: Graduate students, who apply for the summer vacation residence, but not staying for the following semester, should move out of the rooms by 12 pm Aug. 31, 2015.

IX. Further information:

1. For all students who did not apply for the summer vacation residence, or those who have applied yet have not paid for the summer residence fee, please move out by 12 pm on June 30, 2015. If they are found out living in the dorms during summer vacation, will still be required to pay the summer residence fee, and he/she will be asked to move out of the dorm immediately without the right of appeal when they are found out. Additional punishments will be imposed in accord with the relevant NCCU regulations.

2. Graduate students who are not applying for the summer vacation residence should move out of the rooms according to the dormitory regulation. The room (including your closets) should be cleared of personal items and cleaned. In order for the summer camp students to move in, please do not lock the door when moving out. Anyone who does not clear the space according to the regulation, the items will be disposed of and the dormitory deposit will not be returned.

3. 2015 graduate students who have graduated and apply to stay in the dorms through 2015 summer vacation can still use their NCCU student ID for dorm security until the end of August. Office of
