※Online request and result inquiry: http://wa.nccu.edu.tw/mgbrd/User/Account/LogOn
I. Priority students:
Time: May 23 (Tue) 9am- 4pm
Qualification: The following approved summer stay residents:
• Assigned in the following semester to the same dorm area as for the summer stay.
• Currently reside in the assigned area as for the summer stay.
Methods: The applicants MUST log in the system and make personal confirmation. Otherwise, the beds will be made available to other applicants who register on the following day. The priority stipulates that residents who are assigned in the following semester to the same dorm area as for the summer stay will be assigned first and those who currently reside in the assigned area as for the summer stay will then be assigned.
II. Online request and system assignment
Time: May 24 (Wed) 9am- 4pm
Qualification: Approved summer stay residents.
Methods:
• 9am- 4pm: Online group registration and selection.
• 4pm- 6pm: System shuts down for assignment.
• After 6pm: Assignment completed and open for result search.
1. Building a Team:
(1) Multiple members:
A team should have 2-4 members.
The maximum number of team members should not exceed the number of beds in a given room with the maximum number of beds available on that day.
A team should have a leader. All team members must complete an online confirmation so that the leader can make the room request. Team members don’t need to reconfirm the leader’s request.
(2) Individual: Individual applicants can register on their own and make a room request.
2. Number of Requests and Preference Categories:
• Preferences are divided into 5 categories: No Request, Dorm Area, Bed Number, Floor and Room Number.
• A team or an individual can make up to 10 requests. A request in a prior category will have a higher chance to obtain an assignment. (For example, a request for No Request will have a higher chance for assignment than a request for a Room Number.)
3. Assignment Method:
The system will give every team and person a random number and assign rooms in numeric order.
III. Filling Vacancies
Time: May 25 (Thu) 9am- 4pm
Qualification: Approved residents without being assigned a bed for the previous two stages.
Methods: Approved residents without being assigned a bed should submit an online request to secure an available bed.
