Procedure Notice for Canceling Dormitory Assignments for the 2017 Spring Semester
Notice:During the Chinese New Year(1/26-1/30), all service of the Dormitory will be closed temporarily.
I. Undergraduate Dormitory(except for exchange student)
1.Students who cancel their dormitory assignment (including those students who take part in a student exchange program during the 2017 spring semester) should:
a. Fill out the Pre-semester Application Form for Canceling Dormitory Assignments (attachment A) and submit it to the Student Housing Service Section before December 21(Wed), 2016, in order to remove the residence fee from the tuition bill for the spring semester.
b. Move out of the dormitory before January 31 (Tue), 2017. Fill out the Application for Dormitory Deposit Refund Form (Attachment B) and request the dormitory management to place a seal on your application on the day you move out. Then submit the form to the Student Housing Service Section during office hours to start the refund process for the dormitory deposit.
c. Students who do not move out of the dormitory prior to January 31 (Tue), 2017, will be charged a fee in accordance with the relevant dormitory refund policy (Attachment C).
2. The residence fee for the winter vacation is included in the tuition bill for the spring semester, so students who continue their stay are eligible to remain in their dormitory until the beginning of the 2017 summer vacation.
II. Graduate Dormitory(except for exchange student)
1. Students who exceed the maximum stay as stipulated by the university or who cancel their dormitory assignment for the 2017 spring semester (including those students who take part in a student exchange program during the 2017 spring semester) should:
a. Fill out the Pre-semester Application Form for Canceling Dormitory Assignments (attachment A) and submit it to the Student Housing Service Section before December 21(Wed), 2016, in order to remove the residence fee from the tuition bill for the spring semester.
b. Move out of the dormitory prior to January 31 (Tue), 2017. Fill in the Application for Dormitory Deposit Refund Form (Attachment B) and request the dormitory management to place a seal on your application on the day you move out. Then submit the form to the Student Housing Service Section during office hours to start the refund process for the dormitory deposit.

2. The residence fee for the winter vacation is included in the tuition bill for the spring semester, so students who do not exceed the maximum stay as stipulated by the university nor cancel their dormitory assignment for next semester are eligible to remain in their dormitory until the beginning of the 2017 summer vacation.
III. The date for new residents to move into the dormitory for the spring semester begins on February 1 (Wed), 2017.
