Guidelines for 2024 Fire/Disaster Prevention Workshop for New Dorm Residents

1. Time:
Group C: 08:30- 11:30 or 13:00- 16:00,  September 6, 2024

2. All participants should proceed to the Ji Tao Building to complete the scheduled drill activities according to the instructions of the respective team counselors.

3. Sequence of drill activities:

(1) Dormitory regulations

(2) Fire/Disaster prevention

(3) Operation

4. In order to ensure the successful execution of the drill, all participants should check in at the specified venue at the scheduled time. Participants should have their Attendance Certification Slips stamped at each station, and return the slips to the team counselor after they have completed the process in all four stations.

5. In accordance with Article 24 of the “NCCU Residence Hall Counseling and Management Policies”, all student dorm residents should attend the Fire/Disaster Prevention Workshop. Students who fail to attend the workshop without justified reasons shall receive 8 - 10 penalty points.

6. Students who fail to arrive at the workshop on time shall not be allowed to attend the workshop as scheduled for November 06, 2024. In cases that a student is unable to attend the workshop on the above scheduled date due to special reasons, the student should, alternatively, visit the Fire Safety Museum of Taipei City Fire Department to receive a make-up training (Please download the Attendance Certification Slip from the webpage of the Student Housing Service Section for the make-up training) and submit the completed Attendance Certification Slip to the Student Housing Service Section for registration. Apart from receiving penalty points, students who fail to complete the workshop on the scheduled date are required to complete the make-up training before January 10, 2025 and submit the Attendance Certification Slip to the Student Housing Service Section. Students failing to complete the make-up training before the deadline shall be subject to further penalty points. Once the student has accumulated 10 penalty points, he/she shall be required to move out of the dormitory.
