Do you want to experience what it is like to be part of a talented global team? Are you instinctively entrepreneurial and ambitious in nature? If you’re determined to succeed we can help you reach your potential.
At Macquarie, we look for innovative, driven and talented students who share our drive for excellence.
We are inviting high potential penultimate year students to apply for a 2022 summer internship position across a few key Asia markets, including Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Japan and Korea.
By joining the Macquarie Capital Summer Internship Programme, you will have an excellent opportunity to get hands-on work experience in Corporate Finance and Principal Investments in a dynamic, international environment. You will work closely with the senior management team in executing transactions by conducting extensive financial analysis and research. You will also have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects as part of a successful team.
We’re looking for students from a wide range of backgrounds who are completing their degree in 2022/2023. You should have outstanding academic record in banking, finance, business, engineering or a relevant discipline and ideally, prior internship experience across Corporate Finance and/or M&A at a leading multinational bank, private equity or investment management firms, energy developer or utilities, or Big 4 consulting firms. Exposure to the renewable energy sector would be a plus point.
Lastly, you should have strong reading and writing skills in English. Candidates who are fluent in the local language of the location they apply to (e.g. Japanese, Korean, Mandarin or Tagalog) will be preferred. Some financial modelling skills would be a plus.
If you can demonstrate strong academic performance, passion for a green future and involvement in extracurricular and community activities, we’d like to hear from you.
