Stay regulations for freshmen from mainland China

 1. For mainland students who continue to study in Taiwan and are outside the country, the admission school shall apply for the renewal of multiple entry and exit permits as follows:

   (1) When a mainland student has completed registration and the original multiple-time permit is still valid, the admitting school may apply to the Immigration Department for a replacement multiple-time permit upon providing a certificate of enrollment issued by the enrolling school and other required documents.

   (2) If there is no valid entry and exit permit, the admitted school will apply for a single entry and exit permit, and then apply for a multiple entry and exit permit after entering the country.

2. The single-entry and exit permit should be issued upon entry, and the "single-entry and exit permit" should be replaced with a "multiple entry and exit permit" within 2 months. If the application is not completed within the time limit, fines and forced deportation will be imposed in accordance with the regulations of the Immigration Department.
