1. National health insurance (referred to as health insurance)

- The Overseas Chinese Affairs Council provides health insurance subsidies for overseas Chinese students.Those who come from poor families can apply to the school with proof of poverty. Those who meet the qualifications after review by the school will receive a 50% subsidy of 50% of the premium from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Council..
- Except for overseas students who have a household registration in Taiwan or are insured by dependents, all other overseas students are insured at the school, and the premiums are collected with the registration payment slip each semester (計費期間為第1學期:9月至隔年2月、第2學期:3月至8月), if the insurance status changes, this will be used as the standard for insurance or refund calculation.
- If the health insurance is transferred out or surrendered due to factors such as work-study, suspension of study, dropout, graduation, etc., and overpayment of premiums occurs, the Overseas Students and Overseas Students Group will assist in processing the refund and return the money to the registration account of the school's cashier group.
- If you are applying for health insurance or transferring out of the work-study unit outside the school, please be sure to proactively notify the person in charge of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office to avoid affecting your own health insurance rights.
*Pay the "Overseas Chinese Health Insurance Fee" along with the registered payment slip, and the Overseas Chinese Student Team will assist in the process of enrolling in or transferring health insurance.
*If you are a first-time insured person, please take the initiative to write to the staff of the overseas Chinese group to assist you in applying for a health insurance card after meeting the insurance enrollment period.
*Reissue of lost health insurance card: Go to the National Health Insurance Department to re-apply on your own.
2. Overseas Chinese Medical Insurance for Injury and Injury (referred to as Overseas Chinese Insurance)
- According to the key points of medical insurance for overseas Chinese students, overseas Chinese who are not yet eligible to participate in the National Health Insurance can participate in the Overseas Chinese Insurance for 6 months from the date of registration in Taiwan, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Council will subsidize XNUMX% of the premium.
- The premium is collected with the registration payment slip when new students are studying (the billing period is from September to February of the following year).
- Overseas Chinese students participating in the Overseas Chinese Insurance should seek medical treatment due to injuries or accidents during the insurance period. They should go to medical institutions specially appointed by the National Health Insurance for treatment. The medical expenses will be paid by the overseas Chinese students in advance. The original receipt and diagnosis certificate will be attached to the school and the insurance will be sent to them on their behalf. The company files a claim.
