Although the approaching typhoon is scary, as long as you take proper precautions against typhoons, you can protect your family's safety and avoid being harmed by the typhoon.

  1. Before a typhoon strikes, you should pay attention to TV, radio, the Internet, or use the "166" or "167" weather recording phone to listen to (watch) typhoon news at any time to learn about the latest typhoon trends. 

  2. If you are hiking or camping outdoors, you should return home as soon as possible and call your school and family to contact your itinerary and route. In case of emergency, please call 119. If you have booked hiking or camping but have not yet set off, you should cancel your trip.

  3. If your residence is in a low-lying area and is in danger of flooding, please move to a higher place as soon as possible.

  4. Residents who live on hilly areas or in places prone to landslides are asked to cooperate with the government's "preventive evacuation" and evacuate to safe areas as soon as possible to reduce unnecessary casualties.
