Application for dormitory for master's and doctoral programs

1. Application qualifications:

(1) Status: New students admitted in each academic year or former students who have not completed their accommodation period; those who have lived in the doctoral program for eight semesters and those in the master's program who have lived in the dormitory for four semesters can only apply for dormitory waitlist.

(2) Household registration: Students in the school’s master’s and doctoral programs who are registered in the following restricted areas can only apply for dormitory waitlist, and the accommodation period is until the end of the academic year: all districts of Taipei City and New Taipei City’s Zhonghe, Yonghe, Xindian, Shenkeng, and Ban Qiao, Shiding, Sanchong, Luzhou and other administrative districts.

(3) Those whose registered residence is not subject to the aforementioned restrictions, who apply for a dormitory and are successfully allocated a bed, can stay continuously until the end of the accommodation period: the accommodation period for master's degree students is four semesters, and the accommodation period for doctoral students is eight semesters. If you do not want to renew for the next semester, Please apply by the end of the semester.

 

 

2. Household registration standards:

(1) New students or those approved for accommodation for the first time must submit their personal "household registration transcript" to the residential area guidance staff for verification when moving in; those who have not registered in a non-restricted area for more than two years before the application deadline will be disqualified from accommodation.

(2) You can apply for a household registration transcript of personal details at the nearest "Household Registration Office" with your ID card.

 

3. Application time and method:

Online application in early August every year (detailed application schedule will be announced in the latest news from the Accommodation Group in June every year)

 

4. Other allocated accommodation objects:

(1) Students with disabilities and poor students (holding a low-income card from the Social Affairs Bureau), please complete the online application and submit copies of relevant certification documents to the dormitory guidance team for processing.

(2) Overseas Chinese, mainland students, and foreign students admitted in each academic year are guaranteed accommodation in the first year (but those who have obtained a degree from a domestic university or above are not covered). Overseas Chinese, mainland students, and foreign new students must stay in our school. Please check the box on the "Student Status Record Form" sent to apply for accommodation and return it within the deadline. Overdue applications will not be accepted. If you have any questions, mainland students and overseas Chinese students should contact the Student and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office; foreign freshmen please contact the International Cooperation Affairs Office.
