Announcement on Applications for Overseas Internships by National Chengchi University (NCCU) Office of Student Affairs Career Development Center

I. Application requirements

All current students may apply for overseas internships announced by the Career Development Center, but actual requirements will be determined individually by the specific internship provider.

 

II. NCCU students may apply for overseas internships announced by the Career Development Within one week of submitting an application, students must submit their “Overseas Internship Student Consent Form” (see appendix 1). Students under the age of 20 must sign the “Overseas Internship Parental Consent Form” (see appendix 2), to confirm the student’s commitment to abiding by all applicable regulations. Failure to submit these documents will void the application.

 

III. Students wishing to withdraw internship applications must sign and submit the “Overseas Internship Student Waiver Form” (see appendix 3) within one week of the admissions announcement, to the Career Development Center either in paper or electronic form. The student’s internship acceptance will be withdrawn immediately and may not be reinstated. Students withdrawing an internship application will not be allowed to apply for another overseas internship for two years from the current semester, except in cases of force majeure.

 

IV. Students who accept overseas internships shall abide by all the regulations of the internship agreement and the relevant laws and regulations of the host country. In the event of a dispute with the internship host institution, the student must report the issue to the overseas internship coordinator of the Career Development Center and not unilaterally withdraw from the internship.

 

V. Students wishing to apply for overseas internship grants should submit applications in accordance with the regulations of the “NCCU Guidelines for Awarding Grants to Students Participating in International Internship Programs” (see appendix 4).

 

VI. The Career Development Center reserves the right to amend or update these regulations. Overseas internships organized by individual NCCU academic departments should follow their own regulations.
