Third Notice of the Application for Graduate Dorm Vacancies for 2017 Fall Semester

I. Dorm Vacancies Available:

MD

Males:18 beds in total. 3 in ZhiChang Dormitory 123, 15 in Buildings A and C of ZhiChang Dormitory 10 (all double rooms)

Females: 26 beds in total. 12 in JhuangJing Dormitory 9, 14 in Buildings A and C of ZhiChang Dormitory 10 (all double rooms)

PhD

Males:4 beds in total. 4 in ZhiChang Dormitory 3.

Females: 1 bed in total. 1 in JhuangJing Dormitory 9.

 

II. Eligibility:

MD:Waiting list for males No. 29-46 and for females No. 44-69.

PhD:Waiting list for males No. 10-13 and for females No. 7.


III. Time: SEP 5 (TUE) 9:00~ 16:00.

Click on the bed of your choice instead of the preference list. Eligible applicants who do not complete online registration will be deemed as having waived their right.

 

IV. Payment:  Applicants come to Student Housing Service Section to complete the process.  Residents can move into the dorm after paying the dorm fee .
 

V. Fire Safety training
New dorm residents are required to complete fire safety training. Anyone who has not received the training must bring the Fire Safety Training Certificate Form (downloaded from the official website of the Student Housing Service Section) to the Fire Safety Museum of the Taipei City Fire Department in Neihu District of Taipei City to complete the training. The form should be validated and submitted to the Student Housing Service Section before the deadline. Dorm residents who do not complete the training will be given 8-10 demerit points on their student record in accordance with the NCCU Student Dorm Management Regulations. Demerit points accumulate every time dorm residents fail to complete the training. Dorm residents with more than 10 demerit points will be forced to vacate the dorm.

 

VI. Dorm Waivers and Refunds

i. Dorm residents who are assigned a bed and decide to waive the bed are requested to submit the “Application for Canceling the Dorm Assignment(New Semester)” or “Application for Leaving the Dorm Assignment” (downloaded from the official website of the Student Housing Service Section) to Student Housing Service Section.

ii. Refund Policy

(i)  Applications submitted more than two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester are eligible for a new registration slip for free and no dorm fee is required.

(ii) Applications submitted during the two weeks prior to the day before the beginning of the semester will be charged NTD 500 for a late waiver application. A full refund or a new registration slip without a dorm fee will be allowed. Residents who move into the dorm will be charged a dorm fee beginning with the first day of dorm residence in addition to the delayed waiver application fee before submitting the refund application.

(iii) Applications submitted during the first ten days since the semester begins will be refunded 2/3 of the dorm fee.

iii. The refund policy stated above can be found in Article 13 of the NCCU Student Dorm Management Regulations.
